Getting Started

Welcome to StocksBoard! This guide will help you get up and running in just a few minutes.

Installation​

Android​

StocksBoard is available on Google Play Store. Click the link below or search for "StocksBoard" to download and install.

Google Play

Web​

You can also access StocksBoard through your web browser at StocksBoard.net.

iOS​

The iOS version of StocksBoard is under development and will be available soon on Apple's App Store.

Your First Steps​

1. Start with the Onboarding​

When you first launch StocksBoard, you'll be guided through a quick onboarding process that helps you set up your preferences.

2. Create Your First Account​

An Account represents a financial account where you hold assets (e.g., a brokerage account, 401(k), Roth IRA).

  • Tap the Accounts section from the menu
  • Select "Add Account" or the "+" button
  • Enter the account name and details
  • Save your account

3. Add Your Holdings​

Holdings are the securities (stocks, bonds, ETFs, etc.) you own in your accounts.

  • Go to the Holdings section
  • Tap the "+" button to add a new holding
  • Search for your asset by name or ticker
  • Enter the number of shares and purchase details
  • Save your holding

4. Record Your Transactions​

You can manually enter transactions or import them from a CSV file.

  • Go to Transactions
  • Tap "+" to add a new transaction (buy, sell, dividend, etc.)
  • Or use Import to load data from a file
